MSC AND 2nd GRADE PLAYERS ACADEMY
U9-U12 MSC Academy Program
The U9-U12 MSC Players Academy Program targets the most advanced young players and prepares them for Premier level soccer. Teams are part of the MSC club program, the Premier (travel) arm of Montgomery Soccer. U9 teams play one year “up” in the MSI Classic League. U10-U12 teams play in the National Capital Soccer League (NCSL) for boys and the Washington Area Girls Soccer Leauge (WAGS) for girls. Participation on Academy/Premier teams requires a considerable amount of commitment and support from each family. Coaches of MSC Academy teams are employed by MSI and are required to hold at least a USSF ‘D' license or an NSCAA 'Advanced Regional Diploma'. Only those coaches with a proven record of commitment to player development and an understanding of the importance of players' enjoyment of the game are chosen by MSI to coach in the Academy program. Fees for participating families are invoiced by and paid to Montgomery Soccer.
