TRYOUTS for SPRING 2013!!!

MSC Extreme (WAGS G-U14) is looking to add additional players to our soccer family. We are seeking players that are athletic, enjoy the game, and are motivated to work hard to improve their skills.

Team Background

The MSC Extreme is coached by Lauren Sachs who holds an NSCAA Regional and NSCAA Advanced Regional Diploma. Brad Sachar is the team manager. Team Extreme joined MSC & WAGS in Spring 2011 and looks for players who are dedicated to becoming better soccer players. Our team emphasizes skill development, having fun, and sportsmanship. We have previously received the MSI Sportsmanship Award and celebrate by attending DC United games with the team. MSC Extreme was the 2013 Winter Indoor 2013 Session I Champion, 2012 MSC Cherry Blossom Classic Champion, Spring 2010 U11 Division I Champion and the Rockville Sports Plex Indoor 2010 U11 Girls Champion. We have a great group of girls and families who regularly get together to socialize at parties, BBQs, sleepovers, etc.

Player Development
The girls often get together with each other to practice and are developing lasting bonds and friendships. The coach organizes a 5 day preseason camp each fall, has goalkeeper and fitness specialists training during some practices, and has the team play in local area tournaments like the Virginian Soccer Tournament, August Cup Soccer Tournament, and MSC Cherry Blossom Classic. The focus is on player development and team sportsmanship, most importantly in a fun and competitive environment.
